Attorney Laura Tomaszewski was born in Massachusetts but considers herself an Arizona native. She attended
Arizona State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish. She also
attended the University of Phoenix Ground Campus and received a master’s degree in clinical mental health.
Laura attended James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona and Sandra Day O’Connor College
of Law at Arizona State University.
Prior to becoming an attorney Laura worked as a mental health therapist, working in various facilities in the
Phoenix metropolitan area. During her time as a therapist, Laura discovered she had great passion and ability
to help people in crisis.
After a few years in the mental health field, Laura realized her strength was in negotiating resources for
individuals and families in need, so she decided to switch her career focus to the law. Laura finds the diversity
of family law rewarding and excels at helping clients navigate the Arizona family law system. Laura’s gift for
empathy and validation helps her to be a powerful ally for her clients during some of the most difficult
experiences of their lives. Laura values ethics, hard work and doing good for humanity.
Laura enjoys spending time with her young daughter and they enjoy swimming, gymnastics and playing
“pretend” together. Laura loves rock music, and you will occasionally find her at a concert. She also loves the
Phoenix Suns and tries to attend a few games each season.
